Mission of The Alliance
The Global UMTS TDD Alliance is created and supported
by members of the UMTS TDD community. The Alliance’s goal is to provide
a forum for companies in the UMTS TDD ecosystem, who use or build UMTS TD-CDMA standard-compliant products and services, to share their learnings and set requirements for future
solutions.
Specific goals of the Alliance
- Offer a forum for information sharing
- Provide a resource for information on TDD solutions
- Support collaborative technology development
- Educate the market about the successful reference cases of TDD deployments
- Create greater awareness of TDD technology among analysts, press, ISPs, and service providers
- Educate stakeholders regarding economics and viability of TDD solutions
